When summer arrives and the ice comes out, the Palouse Ice Rink becomes roller skating central. Whether you’re lacing up for the first time or a seasoned regular, everyone is welcome on the floor.
Bring your own inline or quad skates, or rent a pair from the front desk. Helmets are available free. Check the rink schedule for current session days and times, and visit the Prices page for admission rates, rental fees, and season pass options.
All skaters must complete a participation waiver before taking the floor.
Session Rules
- Skate in control and in the same direction as other skaters at all times.
- Follow the direction of the Skate Guard on duty.
- Keep moving on the floor — step off to the side if you need a break.
- No racing, roughhousing, or tag games.
- No carrying children while skating.
- Step off the floor to use your phone or take photos.
- Skates must be worn before getting onto the floor surface.
- No food or beverages on the floor at any time.
